Should I request a game that is part of a series ordinarily via the 'Request game' button or should I get in contact with the series' mods and let them add it?

Hello everyone! I've recently started running a very short game and I need to know the exact time of my run. Unfortunately, none of the video players on my PC seem to be able to display the running time of the video down to the millisecond and I don't want to rely on a manual timer. Does anyone know a program or other method that might be able to help me?
