The remaster appears to be the exact same game but as suspected it runs smoother and loads faster as well as not requiring any actual swapping of discs.

Seems fairly unanimous for games that have save-states that those are not allowed in speedruns, so I've done the same with the remaster rules.

The rewind function would appear to only lose time since we time RTA, so no rule surrounding that function at the moment.

The other change I've made is just a spelling correction in the rules since we now have the benefit of a western translation. Devin -> Mecha-Davin.

For the platforms listed on a game's leaderboard page, is there site guidance for if these should be platforms the game was released on, or for platforms the game is playable on?

For example if a game was released on Gamecube only, but of course it can be played on a backwards compatible Wii, should GCN only be listed or should Wii also be?

Vegge's EMU 17:21 has just 3 minutes 33s of loads and would place slower at a 13:48

there's a very specific reason the centre screen popups were left on, i would prefer them to be off. but you dont know anything you just assume im cheating so why tell you.

it is an aesthetic choice, not hiding it. i said in my reply no restrictions on gear load out. we can split between dlc/no dlc runs if we want, i dont mind.

Real simple overlay using the colour pallet from the leaderboards theme. It's got 3 variants for the different characters and a slot for the categories included in the .zip package.

Due to some slight and some big version differences between the GameCube and PlayStation 2 versions of this game that I'm aware of I've decided to have different sub-categories for each console.

I have no way to test the Xbox version so to employ a 'better safe than sorry' philosophy I've also given it it's own sub-category until such time as I'm able to confirm any differences it may or may not have.

6th gen console emulators are famous for being inaccurate so any runs done on one should be submitted to the emulator sub-category.
