Anything can be sub 10 if you put your mind to it
What, why? That just makes runs take longer?
Here it is if anybody wants to view it: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1peerYxhlbZJrgWh2UWGMQ1v3-Jc1SDUmkTSybmQIGII/edit?usp=drivesdk
I've been trying to beat my Any% time for a while now, but there is a chance I will never be able to, and that is because of lag. I got an 8:28 that should have been an 8:17 if it were not for my game lagging so much. Since this is a flash game, the easiest way to access it is through a website like I did. But the lag varies from site to sight, and even in the same one. I think to fix this, the Any% run should prioritize IGT instead of RTA. I think something like Sonic 1's leaderboard. Lag could also increase with bad hardware, making the issue even more prevalent.
Any% is beating the levels, but 100% is getting all 3 stars. For most levels, you will get 3 stars anyway, but for levels like 1-7, getting 3 stars is different from Any%.
Well the mobile version doesn't have this level in the game.
Number 1 rule of speedrunning: a speed run is never dead. A 53 second time will happen.
The only thing so could see improving this is being farther right when first getting the bottom orange candies after the first frog.
Moderators can edit the time to fix it without taking it down.
I'm back now, but I'm rusty at speedrunning, so instead I want to create a weekly news update called The Tasty Times. Starting this week from Jan 25 to 31 and hopefully more to come, it will be in the style of an old timey newspaper covering that weeks events, like new records and the community. It will be made on Google slides and I will record and upload it hopefully on the Saturday of that week.
If you have anything you would like to include, put it here. The Tasty Times will only really include things from Tasty Planet 2, but if things are notable enough, like the release of a new game, they will be covered.
The first time I went in there, people were using ai images. I wouldn't recommend that place.
I have already promised to myself to not touch any of the luck levels ever again.
You had submitted this to any% XD I barely caught it.
The differences between mobile and PC versions of this game are very big. On mobile, some objects will be smaller so you can eat them faster, the max size of the level will be shortened, giving mobile an edge, and a lot less things instant kill you in the mobile version. Dino dude made a video detailing these in a reaction to my first world record. These changes must constitute a category split between the 2 versions, as they are too different to be kept on the same leaderboards.
The background is from tasty planet 1, even though there is an exact shot from "Final Frontier" that's actually from this game. I think we should change the background to that but I don't know how to do it.
