# Приветствую вас, спидраннеры!

Многим раннерам нравились призраки, но они были доступны только для версии Ghosting 2007 года, а эта версия уже не такая популярная по сравнению с 2013 годом.

### Теперь призраки появились и на версии 2013!

Благодаря усердной работе ScriptedSnark’а появились призраки. Если вы не знаете, что это такое, прошу ознакомиться с этим видео от спидраннера ALLAN’а:

Если вкратце, теперь вы можете соревноваться с чужими рекордами благодаря призракам, менять им модель, цвет, прозрачность и так далее.

Как их настроить, подробно описано в прикреплённом видео выше.

Но помимо призраков, мы вводим **новые правила верификации!**

# Верификация и правила:

## !! Призрак будет обязателен к каждому спидрану на HL1 Movement !!

Проверьте в консоли, чтобы **gh_autorecord** всегда был включён.

От начала и до конца вашего спидрана будет записываться ваш призрак в формате файла .run в папку игры ghostingmod/runs.

# Для спидранов HL1 Movement теперь нужно использовать только версию 2013 года.

Если вы спидраните на версии 2007, вам придётся перейти на новую версию. Скачать её можно здесь:

# Ответы на вопросы:

# Для чего сделана такая верификация?

Ваш спидран в формате .run содержит нужную информацию о ране, которая будет важна при верификации.

В целом, такой новый формат облегчит работу модерации, потому что модераторы смогут просматривать сам призрак прямо в игре.

Это будет дополнительным подтверждением того, что ваш спидран был пройден честно.

# А если я хочу поспидранить отдельные главы? Что делать?

Вы должны включить **gh_runcomplete_notify 1,** чтобы плашка показывалась после того, как вы напишете gh_stop или забиндите эту команду.

**Только перед полными ранами не забудьте её выключить! Иначе в начале карты после рестарта она будет постоянно показываться.**

# Будущие планы?

Пока есть идеи добавить спектейт мод для призраков, чтобы каждый мог просмотреть свой ран.

# Если у меня крашнула игра во время спидрана, значит ли это, что забег не засчитают?

Да, забег должен быть полностью записан от начала и до конца, без крашей.

# А если у меня произошёл краш, что делать?

В папке с вашей сборкой, рядом с hl2.exe, должен сформироваться файл **.dmp**

Этот файл нужно скинуть ScriptedSnark’у. Также в консоли пропишите **gh_version**, чтобы узнать, на какой версии вы сейчас играете.

# Я не хочу, чтобы мой файл с призраком был в свободном доступе. Что делать?

Пожалуйста, перед публикацией рана дайте нам знать, если нужно удалить ссылку на файл .run

Hello, speedrunners!

Many runners liked ghosts, but they were only available for the Ghosting 2007 version, and that version is no longer as popular compared to the 2013 version.

**Now ghosts are available for the 2013 version as well!**

Thanks to ScriptedSnark’s hard work, ghosts are now available. If you do not know what they are, please check out this video by the speedrunner ALLAN:

In short, you can now compete against other people’s records using ghosts, change their model, color, transparency, and so on.

How to set them up is explained in detail in the attached video above.

**But besides ghosts, we are also introducing new verification rules!**

# Verification and Rules:

# !! A ghost will be mandatory for every HL1 Movement speedrun !!

Make sure in the console that `gh_autorecord` is always enabled.

From the beginning to the end of your speedrun, your ghost will be recorded as a `.run` file in the `ghostingmod/runs` folder inside the game directory.

For HL1 Movement speedruns, you must now use only the **2013** version.

If you are speedrunning on the 2007 version, you will need to switch to the new version. You can download it here:

If you do not like ghosts, you can disable them visually, but the `.run` file must still be recorded from the beginning to the end of the speedrun.

# At the end of each run, a panel will appear on the left side of the screen, showing that you have successfully completed the speedrun.

This panel will contain all the information about your file:

# All information from the panel on the left side of the screen must be visible after the run ends for about 5–10 seconds 

Please make sure that nothing covers it in the video.

This panel will disappear if you move to the next level or start a new run.

The .run file must be attached to the description of every new run submitted to speedrun.com in the HL1 Movement category.

Use any file hosting service to upload the .run file.

**Please do not try to edit it or replace it in any way. Upload it exactly as it was created at the end of the run.**

# Answers to Questions:

# Why was this verification system made?

Your speedrun in .run format contains the necessary information about the run, which will be important for verification.

Overall, this new format will make moderation easier, because moderators will be able to view the ghost directly in-game.

This will serve as additional proof that your speedrun was completed legitimately.

# What if I want to speedrun individual chapters? What should I do?

You must enable **gh_runcomplete_notify 1** so that the panel appears after you type `gh_stop` or bind this command.

Just do not forget to disable it before full game runs! Otherwise, after restarting at the beginning of a map, it will keep appearing constantly.

# Future plans?

For now, there are ideas to add a spectator mode for ghosts, so that everyone can watch their own run.

# If my game crashes during a speedrun, does that mean the run will not be accepted?

Yes. Your run must be fully recorded from beginning to end, without crashes.

# What should I do if my game crashes?

In your game build folder, next to hl2.exe, a .dmp file should be generated.

You need to send this file to ScriptedSnark. Also, type `gh_version` in the console to check which version you are currently playing on.
