GGs on this! Did the suitcase suffocation thing get patched or smth? I thought it would be the no brainer strategy for death%
I think the mods have less of an incentive to check the VOTV leaderboards considering how quiet it has been. Or they are just insanely busy with irl stuff
Boris Lub is now 100% serious about not allowing mods to obtain roles for Prime Mode. And seeing as a lot of my nerfed prime speedruns use the All Enemies Prime mod for the "No Jumpscares" option. I would like to ask on what should be done with speedruns using mods? For clarity, the mods I use do not alter the gameplay in any form. And is still accurate UNTIL playing Prime Plus where the Extra Traps are bugged
Interesting way to lure Granny to Old House from Backyard using Plank (Glitch)
If you throw a plank at a very precise spot on the Backyard. Then Granny will go to the other side of the wall into the Old House. Interestingly enough, with Prime speed, you have enough time to get the Padlock Code without using the Pepper Spray
Nerfed Prime Garage Strategy for v1.2 Elevator Route!
This strategy is divided into 2 parts. Bringing the Master Key up and Bringing the Metal Rod up. You can do both individually, but it's faster to do them both together.
To bring the master key, you want to do a bit of setup first. All of these steps are important (except for maybe the 3rd one)
- You are bringing the Car Keys into the Garage
- You have the Pepper Spray nearby
- Ideally, you already opened the Green Key locker. Or at least have the Green Key nearby
- You have already disarmed the bear trap from the first set of stairs
MASTER KEY
You start by throwing the car key forward, and then use the pepper spray on Granny. We will be using all 15 seconds of blindness for this strategy. Once you make your way on the garage staircase, you throw the car keys onto the first beartrap and squeeze your way forward to save a bit of time. Now you unlock the car trunk and remove the bumper, then disarm the beartrap and throw the key forward to the shotgun table to distract Granny. Now we collect the master key and press the button and gently leave the garage. In this video, I only had 2 seconds of leniency before Granny's blindness was gone!
That's not all though. Once you get back up: You throw the Master Key, you pick up the vase, you pull the lever on the green locker, and then you throw the vase before Granny sees you. If you haven't opened the green locker yet, you have to also open it as well.
METAL ROD
This strategy is much easier, but mainly hinges on a tight timing. Once you make it back onto the Garage, you want to pick up the car key and throw it on the other side of the car so that Granny gets distracted and goes to the nightmare wall. When you throw the key, pick up the metal rod and hide in the locker. Now we wait until Granny goes close. As soon as she turns her back from the stairs, open the locker and make a run towards the stairs. She won't turn fast enough to catch you, and you have enough time to leave the Garage before she can properly see you
@TikTakNastayashi I have already done it, haha. I am just waiting for the run to be verified!
I have never seen that death + win at the same time before. Congrats!
I don't really like how hard it is to search for a run because of how many options you would want to place. Just from this screenshot, I would already get rid of these options

My Ideas
- Remove Difficulty Option. If there is mentions that an enemy is included, then we can already assume it's a Prime speedrun.
- Remove all extra enemy settings options. I really do not see the big difference between Better Navigation + No Better Navigation speedruns. There is maybe an argument towards keeping Ghost Chair or Furious Visitor, or for fullhouse. But individually it makes it harder to see
- Combine Evil Chair, Visitor, and Void options into an Extra Enemy Dropdown instead. Unless we are allowed to do All Enemies Prime Speedruns. It would make it much easier to tell which enemies we can use
- A minor change. But maybe make v1.2 the default version (because it is the current one)
This is what undertale looks like to someone who hasn't played undertale
I figured the reason why this game has died is that everyone involved had simply grown up and moved onto other things, me included. I'm not so sure if the moderators for this leaderboard are even active
I never knew you could get faster. Congrats on this run!
@Setoalexander Fire that you're still here ahaha! I did this short lil' speedrun to showcase the new glitch that could revolutionize some missions
As for specific timesaves / route deviations I did from the previous run
- I implemented some faster menu-ing tricks to save time from having to move the cursor a lot. Such as pressing ENTER when the loading screen is complete to immediately get into action, or pressing ESC / TAB to exit the map when you are ready to enter a new mission
- If you are really lucky with the grenades, you don't need to use the KillZombie redeem code to get an extra 10 grenades
- I switched around the order of when I get Dirty Job. Though in hindsight, the previous placement was like a bit faster, so I really shouldn't have done that
As for the changes I made with the Zombie Multiplication glitch
- Fix the Fence in the Shooting Range - I multiplied the zombies by two (which is TAB, ENTER, TAB, ENTER) so that eight zombies would spawn on the barrel at the right. This allows me to just explode the barrel and have the first objective end pretty much immediately
- Transfer of the radioactive waste - I multiplied the zombies by two so that 12 zombies would spawn close to one another, which I could then explode with a barrel, and shoot out the rest if the objective was not already completed
- Old Supplies - I multiplied the zombies by two so that I could just kill the outside zombies to quickly complete the first objective
- Old House Treasure - I multiplied the zombies by two so that I could just throw a grenade at the house to instantly complete the first objective (I feel this throw in particular to be a bit sketchy). I did have to throw an extra few grenades to clear out the remaining zombies after the keycard cutscene cause I found that the zombies can still kill you during the cutscene
Another thing I wanna mention is that this glitch also messes up the loading screens. So I probably have to find an alternative way to retime runs. For this run, I just timed it for when all loading bars are full, instead of when the start button is shown
(also heads up that I may update the rules for this category in case you wanna run it again)
Seeing a 25 second full cycle speedrun was certainly something! I love how the Google play loading took up more time than the actual speedrun itself
