Our reasoning for Dani's skips counting as Major skips would be that the skips Dani created on purpose save a sizeable chunk of time per skip (over 5 seconds each) so we'd like some input from you guys!
@Bony_Thicc an any% run is beating the AI the fastest possible way, Easy AI included in a lot of games, however if there is no disadvantage to running harder AI, then by default people would run the harder difficulty despite it being the exact same run
We need an any% NG+ category, true any% would be to unlock the cars in order and beat every track the fastest way like that, NG+ is the one where you can pick any vehicle to start all the levels
I dont think there was any confusion at all with intended route, the name is not ambiguous, changing the categories and adding more complicated rules per category is confusing. The only question we had was why the first hill skip in FF is accepted as it is NOT an intended shortcut, nobody else who was read the rules had a question about what is considered intended
I consider the turn up the hill a skip, I guess it would be a minor skip, but I think the leaderboards of the current Intended Route category should turn into glitchless/no skips since the current goal is to follow the route the dev intended
So basically that 2 second skip is not major? I call for more discussion as I think a 2 second shortcut is quite significant, also NMS would exclude developer intended shortcuts like PP and completely overthrow the current leaderboards. I also say this having set WR on all other Intended Route levels, just waiting for mods to confirm my times, but I think we need community discussion on this rule change
