Personally I think a good category would just be running the game with all of the skill tree fully unlocked. Would be easily accessible (unlocking all of the skills really isn't that hard), and means that it's a bit easier to handle the gun. I think it would be cool to see that higher level of play.
Could simply call it Newgame+ or something like that.
The WR absolutely zooms through all these text boxes. How they do it?
I was just curious because I know certain PC games have optimal patches to run on. Is The Evil Within similar to that? My friend has been wanting to try some of these tricks on her copy of Evil Within, which is on stream, and she can't seem to do them or is wondering if they're version dependent.
Any answers on this would be nice and it would help us out a lot. Thank you!
Very new to this game. Looking at some of the runs. How do you do the weird hover thing George does?
Okay so this is gonna sound a bit wired but I want a bad game to speedrun. Not a game that’s bad for Speedrunning but a bad quality game to Speedrun.
I love the idea of taking a shit game and just going at it with perfect optimization. It’s just such a funny contrast between quality of a game and quality of the run/gameplay.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions though? I have no clue where to start.
The intro which discusses the amulet and so on hasn’t showed up for me? Which is a bit of a problem as I need it to figure out when to start time.
All I got is the developer logo and an arrow button which lets me get right into the game. No cutscene beforehand.
I plan on running this game soon, specifically 100%, and I just wanted to see what that is real quick. That’s liberating every human possible yes?
So I understand everyone is playing this game on the Playstation emulator, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to run that on my computer, so I was wondering what would happen if I ran it on the ds? Would it go with the other emulators, or would a different file be created? Just checking.
Nothing is really going right for me when it comes to OBS. I recorded seven minutes worth of speedrun and when I ended the recording I only got two minutes of the stuff. How do I fix this?
Okay so they're both talking about the same community, these questions, and the community/game in question happens to be for Dora's puppy adventure.
So sorry if I seem unpatient or rude or whatever, but I'm just wodnering what happens if a moderator of the game doesn't really show up on the site anymore so they can't verify my run? The one moderator for that game hasn't done anything in ten months, so I just wanted to know what would happen if they just didn't show up.
Also is it ever okay to submit a split without a video? I had done a world record time on the game and I have the split to prove it, but now I can't recreate it as it had to do with what sums up to basically rng at times. Am I basically SOL here?
I'm just wondering how you people go about recording things on iOS and Android, as I was thinking about running a few games for these.
