Does changing the fov effect to strong directly affect the gameplay, or is it just preference?

I think there should be a category for beating all 8 worlds in plus mode, as well as beating all 8 worlds in both normal and plus mode

The rules for the level leaderboards state that there are no glitches allowed, but doesn't state wall hoping and high jumping. Both these are allowed in runs, and I have seen them used in verified runs. Are they exceptions to this rule as they are more like bugs rather than glitches or anything?
