Here's why it was split (mainly discovered by d0gknife)
• Obstacles like hammers, pommels, and gloves have a radius around them which K.O.s you if they're regardless of if you're touching it or not. On versions of 0.9 this doesn't happen and it instead only ragdolls you if you're directly hit by it. This can force slowdowns at several points and make runs less consistent.
• Some extra glitches like grabbing slopes to cancel fall damage (used on 0.9 wobbly gauntlet record) and much farther hammer skip that can save time on some runs (used on wobble drop 0.9 world record) are exclusive to older versions.
• The wobbly gauntlet in 1.0 was reworked to make the first hammer closer to the area you need to go which saves several seconds, meaning older runs can't compete with newer runs even when playing perfectly.
• Additionally, Many cycles and some strats can be dependent on framerate in 0.9 versions whilst on 1.0 it's much more consistent. Which could require changing settings in your computer.
Overall, just these changes can make several seconds of difference between versions and these are just the ones that are known, even more differences could be found in the future. Since older versions of Wobbly Life can only be accessed on the Steam version of the game whilst any console version (and the mobile version once it's out) are stuck on 1.0, it would be unfair to group them together. Separating the old and new versions could keep the runs accessible to anyone whilst also allowing for the fastest times to be done using those older versions.
I see this strat was used in all minigames any% and i do not understand at all how it works.
