I'm fairly certain your problem is that you're not pulling out the darkness and absorbing energy. Next time you reach Ernie, try pulling out the darkness before you try to shoot the black hole, and if your energy is low then stand in the dark and absorb some. I believe that should fix things.

If that doesn't fix your issue then please let me know and show me another video if possible!

I have come to the decision to allow emulator submissions under a separate category for both ILs and full game runs!

I don't currently have any restrictions on which emulator should be used, as it seems as though many emulators won't even run this game. For now, if you can get it working, I'll allow it for submission. Anything based on Mupen64Plus seems to work well. I may end up changing these rules in the future.

Like many other N64 games, World Driver Championship runs slightly faster on emulator than it does on console. As such, I don't believe the two versions should be compared together on the leaderboards. It's for this reason that I'll be keeping the two platforms separate. I was hesitant to allow emulator at all after discovering this, but I figure there's no harm in a separate emulator category.

Please let me know if there are any issues submitting or if I've made a mistake in restoring the leaderboards. I had to manually update every run after creating the emulator variable, and I worry I may have made a mistake somewhere.

Glad to see there's interest in this! I will test the accuracy of emulation soon and update the rules accordingly. Hopefully will have testing done by next week, but I can't promise anything.

Didn't really know where else to post this so I figured I'd throw it here. I found a glitch that allows you to redo a race while collecting the reward for completing it. This might be useful for speedruns, in particular a Rank 1 run, but since it involves doing an entire extra race, it could end up being too slow for other categories.
