As a former verifier, I would say being a verifier is a lot of work. You have to commit a lot of time to verifying, and it can just get in the way of some possibly important stuff you could be doing. I would not recommend becoming a verifier unless you have a lot of spare time. I am not trying to stop people from becoming verifiers I am just stating my opinion of the job based off of my experience and I hope more verifiers are hired.

This makes me kinda sad because I have been here since the beginning. I kind of helped make the NoDeath% exist, I was also a verifier for a little bit, and I even got a world record. Seeing the speedrun.com page abandoned just hurts me a little bit and I hope the official Half Sword speedrun website does well. (and no I will not stop making runs).

Wow this run is now a part of history. When I did this run and got the wr, I thought that it was gonna be beaten less than a week later. I was proven way wrong and now we are moving on from speedrun.com and I guess this run and all of the other world records are just a part of Half Sword history now.

I also think we should merge the old runs with the new ones because of the same reason as tin man but the other reason is because i dont want to lose my wr.

i can confirm this because i did my absolutely insane 125 run mainly to beat case

but i did do it for other reasons such as bragging about it to my friends

I have mentioned this before but it was a while ago and since we have more mods I will say this again i was thinking there would be a NoDeath% category that is not fists only but the player uses fists and the enemy uses a weapon. I was thinking that it would be called Unarmed.

Recently I have been bored because I fell like there is a lack of competition. My only questions are is this game dead or are the mods/verifiers just not doing anything. I was a verifier at one point and now that I am not anymore I don't really have anything to do other than submit runs.

(For people that don't want to read all of that I am bored because the game is dead).

we will have higher tiers someday its just we need more moderation and we also just have to stop being lazy because somehow more runs got verified when we only had one active moderator

I have a tip for you if you press f you will lock on the enemy so you won’t be on the side of him anymore just do not change the setting that strengthens the camera locking system that is against the rules

you dont have to but next time please have a counter it makes it way easier to verify (both visual and vocal counters work)

I used to do that
