Hello Everyone!

I'm going to host a Challenge for Return to Castle Wolfenstein

It's going to be a 2 Phase Tournament, where the first Phase which starts at the 5th of July 2024 is going to be limited to NEW Runners. The Main Category (any%, Don't hurt me.) will be used and the top 3 will share the prize money of ATLEAST 100€.

The second Phase will allow all (new and existing) runners to participate and they are going to race in Groups against each other and advance in a Single Elimination Bracket. They will also be sharing a Prize Pool of ATLEAST 100€.

- New Runners count as following -

• If you have a verified any% RTCW Speedrun before the 1st of June 2024 you may not participate in the first phase.
• If you are known to have previously been running the game on any% without having a submitted run to the Leaderboard, you may not participate in the first phase.

- Submission Rules -

• The tournament is going to follow the Standard RTCW Speedrunning rules and have to be submitted to the separate category limited to the tournament runs.
• Every submitted run must be performed live and streamed to Twitch.tv - VODs (Past Broadcasts) have to be stored and made accessible for staff to be rewatched.
• Your SRC Account must have been made before the 1st of June 2024 or otherwise has to be manually approved by Staff

Hey!

I can't play the game in fullscreen and when I play in windowed or borderless - left and right sides are cut off and there is also no way to adjust the resolution or aspect ratio. Are there any config files that allow me to do so?

Especially for the Challenge, the timer is cutoff and I am not able to show it. There is no workaround.

This is the last RTA run we are verifying. Please pay attention to the rule changes since we now no longer accept RTA runs and require a cvar vaildation at the end aswell. You're gonna have a better LRT Time anyway!

Also for the sake of the autosplitter and more accurate timing and load removal, 1.42d or 1.45a are highly recommended. You will automatically have a better time!

As a Return to Castle Wolfenstein runner, I might try this.

Full Game Speedrun when?

You can use the AutoSplitter to start/end the Timer and you'll have a better time overall

First of all, this is Don't Hurt Me. Second you have split 7 seconds early. Timing ends after losing control. I recommend you to use the integrated AutoSplitter for accurate Splits!

In case you're wondering. The AutoSpliter didn't work as inteded because It shouldn't have split at the cutscene. It's fixed now and the time added was 18.46 seconds to both, your IGT and RTA Time. If you have further questions you can hit me up in the RtCW Discord Server. I am very sorry if this caused any inconvenience for you.
