GibraltarBefore this new 3.1.x patch, the final time was not shown in the post credits screen.
To make it easier for verifiers, the viewers, and even yourself as a runner, the IGT will still be required to be on screen to make the rules consistent across patches, and to respect every other runner before you to have followed the rules to date:)
Also you seem to have been running you're own timing software in that run, and if you look at the rules and I quote:
" We ONLY use the in-game timer to record your time. To turn this on, go to options and select "Personal Best" under the "Speedrun Info" setting.
The timer must be visible during the entire run. You are free to use your own personal timing software to time yourself, but this must not cover any of the game screen and will essentially be ignored for the purposes of recording your time. "
If you can have your own personal timing software setup, than I guarantee you its even easier to enable the IGT!
First of all, death type to " remake " is part of the customizable options YOU ARE ALLOWED to change in the games settings as per the rules, and second of all, the store points screen was shown in this video.
The rangers have enough unique properties to be seperated from each other in my personal opinion.
A big example is the fact that the pink rangers zord flies, which makes a big difference during the zord stages. The green ranger is also right now by far the worst ranger with his slow attack speed. His times are going to be very different compared to the others in this current patch.
In the rules it says story mode can be used, but only speedrun mode has an ingame timer...so I am a bit confused about that? Will runs also be categorized by patch too since its very likely there will be future patches? (Headache mode also seems to be missing)
I am pretty sure you just have to beat the game to unlock very easy (not 100% sure), but I know for sure to unlock mania you have to beat hardest once
So the game has changed a lot over the last two patches and a lot of the cast do not even feel/play/look like they used to when the game released. (Especially Axel/Cherry/Floyd/Axel2/Axel3/Zan and probably more)
We might as well have this discussion as a community as early as possible before too many runs get submitted on the boards, but I personally feel like there might be just enough demand to make a category where you are only allowed to use your default moveset and another category where you can use anything you want.
Thoughts everyone?
Story mode in my opinion shouldnt even be a category at all, arcade is enough. Story mode has too many issues with ruleset not to mention the 3 bars of meter, just a mess of a category!
I see we have a new wave of verifiers and mod changes! congratulations to oDSFM and BadMoon as new verifiers and bill as a supermod! Best of luck for v06 :)
