Still arranging the categories in this game, I want the characters to be separate but visible so we'll see if I have to split them all into their own leaderboards or not. Otherwise we'll just see Saragat deprecating everything

This timing starts and ends when the in-game time would. I suggest we measure RTA though, if only because resetting to the main menu may actually save time in some cases. See the final mission in my current Dark Side run as an example of this; my first attempt at the mission was not salvageable.

No rules are defined for either category. The videos that are available for Hero Side seem to go by in game time. I assume this starts when choosing Hero/Dark Side after character creation, and ends after opening the last card pack before the credits. Would this be a safe assumption?

Also while I will be starting from a fresh save, I plan on using the Beat bonus card obtained from having a Sonic Heroes save present on the memory card. This shouldn't be a problem correct?
