Is pressing B for a faster awaking allowed in gameover% speedruns?

How are speedruns accepted as "event" ones? Like do I just have to submit a run and state its for the event or?

If I do a speedrun for example easy mode sewer escape glitchless but I do it in nightmare mode will it be marked as a wrong category?

Has the creator released a new version? If so can it be updated in the resources page because I cant find the game on game jolt right now
