Yes emulators are allowed. I personally recommend Bizhawk but you do you. You'll need a NA BIOS because the game didn't come out in any other region. Also a thing to note; Emulator, PS1, PS2 (without fast disc) and PS3 are all slower than PS2 (with fast disc) by about 2m25 seconds.

So we have kind of a weird situation with the https://www.speedrun.com/animorphs_sr leaderboard. CavemanDCJ used to be the mod of that game for that game since the beginning and the game had been set to not require verification since he wasn't active for the passed 2 years. Unfortunately, he removed himself from moderator of that game last week and now the leaderboard reverted to runs requiring verification (or he changed it himself before leaving but I don't want to make assumptions). Now runs that are submitted are forever stuck in limbo with no moderator to verify them and no moderator to change the settings. I reached out to JimB which is moderator for the whole series https://www.speedrun.com/animorphs_series but he told me he doesn't have permissions to edit the games contained in the series so this is the only place I can think of asking for help on this.

Hi, I'd like to be added as a mod for Shadowrun (https://www.speedrun.com/Shadowrun_SNES). I submitted a run over 3 weeks ago that still hasn't been verified. Jiseed has never verified any run except his own any% run over a year ago. Fuxissimo has last been seen over 8 months ago and seems to be MIA without any way to be contacted.
