It doesn't seem very fair to me. For me, this is already entering the game code, which is prohibited. On a real console, we will not be able to find out what kind of pattern of lights the game gave us, so why give such an advantage on the emulator. This will quickly lead to the division of categories into consoles and emulators will not be very good. Well, that's my opinion.
