in solo just SK before you hit the finish line if you don't like your time

This is not what this is about. You can reset, till you have a good run, then you continue. This is stupid

The category rush rules are unclear. So far it doesn't prevent you from resetting and retrying a map until you have the best possible time, then continue.

This feels less like a category rush, checking your consistency, but more like a 10 map hunting session.
