I would like to argumentate more but the best I can say to repond to that is that its litterally a 5 second istance, this thing wont get tiring at all whatsoever unless you are extremely lazy. "wouldn't that bring second life to such categories?" a second life to categories? what the hell are we even making up at this point, no its important to pay respect to the users who have genuenly put in the efforts to pull off such feats when pets and broken abilities werent even allowed nor existed in the first place. practically speaking locking categories behind uprgadable items earned trough hours and hours of grinding is FAR WORSE than pulling up a 5 feat during 1 recording that could even last up to 10 hours worth of attempts.
It has been noted that pets have drastically changed the way waapp is ran. Pets overall help make your run faster in some categories such as cashier and cook adding unnecessary grind for players who want to show their skill casually and at the same time locking categories only for people who use pet buffs in their runs. It has been stated that pets are "impossible to detect" and I say thats completely false! To see if a player is using a pet you must make it a mandatory rule for runs after the most recent update to show that the pet hasnt been turned invisible by the runner. To furthermore see the tier the runner must aslo show pet stats before starting the run. To be fair there's absolutely no need to make 4 different sub categories per category but I think it's best to devide it into petless runs and pet% category as all runners who own a pet are not stupid enough to submit a run with the lower tier possible as it makes almost no difference whatsoever.
TLDR: Make categories devided in sub-categories: Petless% Pet% Make it a permanent rule for the runner to record their settings prior to starting a petless run to verify pets arent hidden. Make it a permanent rule for pet% runners to show their pet stats to verify the tier (unnecessary but if you guys really want to) All previous petless runs will not need to have this requirement and will just stay as is in the current category. All previous pet% runs will be moved to the new pet% sub-categories to ensure fairness in the community. All runs moving forward the "category overhaul update" will need the requirements stated above in order to be considered a verifiable run.
