I had an interesting idea while discussing the new 2v8 mode with some friends, and I wanted to see if the community would be interested in turning it into a speedrun category. With the recent addition of Wesker and Nemesis to 2v8, I was thinking—what if we had a run focused on achieving Total Infection?

Achieve full infection on all 8 survivors, meaning each survivor must be simultaneously affected by both Nemesis' T-Virus infection and Wesker’s Uroboros infection as fast as possible.

• Encourages strategic coordination between the two killers.
• Requires optimal routing and perk/add-on choices for the fastest possible infection spread.
• Brings a fresh, unique challenge beyond just kills or escapes.
• Could lead to interesting tech discoveries within the infection mechanics.

I’d love to hear feedback from the community—do you think this would make for a fun and competitive category? Would you tweak the rules in any way to make it more engaging?
