The leaderboards were split before I merged them, it was a mess with half the difficulties with no entries. The game doesn't have a huge community and most existing runners when the leaderboard was created were only focusing on Foxhound rank. If a lot of people wanted it back to being separated by difficulty, then I'm sure it would happen, but then again I don't think people aiming for the lowest Foxhound time would care if their time was beaten on a lower difficulty.
One of the reasons I left it as it is, is because at the end of the day it's a speedrun and if the lowest time is on very easy then why should that be a problem. For the last 3 years anyone could have submitted a WR VE run and I would have been fine with that. I think it's just that people don't want to run the game on very easy, most want to aim for Foxhound if they can.
Would like to know what the others think, but I do understand what you're saying.

Can we please remove all series mods for this as none of them actually run it? This also explains the butchered leaderboards. Please mod either myself or VPP so we can look after it and make it a good place to get information on MGS3 speedrunning.

Regarding the estimate for MGS3, I'm confident in the current time. I am improving and will continue with the daily runs. Furthermore the estimate includes the score screen at the end of the 10m credits. I'd love to get my stats from the end of the run but I'm not sure I can fill 10m of silence at the end so we can finish it early. I'd like to let the next guys start set up during the credits so we're not wasting time (the next run is SWAT so all the better :^) )

I've been practising MGS3 as much as I can recently, I have gone from essentially having no PB in the game to getting a 1:45:28 IGT http://www.twitch.tv/cerberusguns/c/6686012
I still have a lot to learn about this game but it is easy to practise and practise pays off a lot in this game, I would expect to be able to get under the estimate of 1:40 for this game easily before the event and would have done it already if I hadn't been so busy recently.
Will more then likely start doing daily runs of this like I did with Ape Escape 3 last year so I expect to improve quickly.
