The past couple days I had almost all my runs for Duke3D World Tour here simultaneously removed for no reason. About forty in total, including plenty that were the fastest in their category, and about half of them had originally been approved five months ago.

The reason given is that my playstyle has been deemed "too casual" by the mods here. Which is self-evidently false; I've set dozens of first-place times (mostly 100% secrets, to boot), an 80-minute full-game run, pistol-started every level, - I'm clearly not 'too casual', but it's not like it's hard to see what the ulterior motive here is: the mods here are a little Discord clique and they don't want anyone else touching "their game".

The same handful of mods here have been perching on the leaderboards for years, and evidently, the way they stay on top is by not letting any one else's runs onto the boards. Those same mods self-verify their own runs, have verified runs which don't actually meet all the criteria they should have, and I know they aren't even watching other peoples' leaderboard submissions before they deny them - because supposedly all the mods watched the runs I submitted here last week before those were rejected, but I uploaded my video proofs as unlisted on YouTube, and I can see on my Studio backend they're all still at zero views each. So plainly, when all the mods say there's high standards here, or that they all watch something in full to make a decision, they're just lying.

If this is how they want to act, they shouldn't be in charge of deciding who gets to use the leaderboards here.

If you can't be bothered to actually do the job of a moderator, you shouldn't be a moderator.

Frankly, there shouldn't be any people deciding that some runs are 'playing the game wrong'. If it meets the category rules and has video proof, it should have a spot on the leaderboard. The mods shouldn't have the ability to artificially and arbitrarily rule some runs aren't allowed, and presumably, just because they don't like competition.

As far as I'm concerned, the moderators here should reinstate all the runs of mine they've taken down for "being too casual" (as well as anyone/everyone else's they've done the same too), have a think about why they're in the wrong, and if they're not going to moderate this game properly going forward, step down and find persons who will.

If they're not willing to do that, then I for one am definitely not interested in sticking around here while it's being run improperly. And if they're not going to fix their act and put back up all the runs they've been wiping off the boards recently for no reason, then I'm not going to stay and argue. But if that's the sort of space they want to grow here, rather than be an actual space for fans of the game, then on their own heads so be it.
