I'm personally in favor of IL stuff being looked into again. Many people seemed to be interested, but there didn't seem to be much motion or interaction from the leaderboard mods, so nothing came of it.
Bring it up in the Crash discord, see what others think, and we can have discussion about it. I don't see it happening any time soon, not because I don't want it, but because I don't know if enough demand is there for it. But, if there are desires for it that haven't been expressed, it might come up in the discord. People have also talked about having Arcade ILs on here, too.
Attention CTR Runners! Several have asked many times, we have held many votes and discussions, and now we are finally delivering. 'Modern/Classic' filters are finally being added to the Any% NMG leaderboards!
For those unaware of the concepts of 'modern' and 'classic', classic bans the use of specific, more modern SCs. The SCs and respective videos will be listed below. Essentially, classic plays like how people ran the category before TA skip's implementation. The vast majority of players play this way, and now you can more easily compare against what high and top level runners get in the Classic playstyle, by applying the filter with the toggleable menu at the top of the leaderboard. We hope this encourages more people to play how they want, and get even more action going on the leaderboards!
[Update as of 4/11/2025] We have finished the Any% NMG Boards, we may add filters for All Cups and 101% at some point.

I'm totally not biased from the conversation in the crash discord, but this would be goated to add to the page tbh. It allows us to have a way to track times that apply to RTA settings, and have a place where you could push for AI, Wumpa, and Item optimizations, and see what human potential is with these factors in play.
As for the rules/categories, 3 Lap and 7 Lap are what I think should be there. 3Lap reason: (duh), 7Lap's reason, tho, to me, it being a consistency challenge would be such a unique spin on the way tracks are played currently. I think the Skips/No Skips flag is a great idea, as well as a character flag, too. I don't think they should be alternate categories; it would be too needlessly spacious.
Also adventure courses being submittable would be crazy cool. We'd have an unofficial "Community Sum of Best" in a sense, with the best times we have gotten in runs being able to be kept far more easily. They also would never become the meta because they would always theoretically be slower than doing ILs in Arcade due to where you start being further back.
I think splitting boards and having igt for both is an excellent idea, let the pc gang rise up yeeehaw
