There was a lot of action on this Cruisn USA Speedrun page in recent weeks. New categories were created for blue Jeep and non-blue Jeep NG+, and a sub 20 was posted as the new WR in the NG (New Game) category with the discovery of that 2 player speed boost strategy.

Though I was impressed by the new 2 player strategy and WR time, I did personally feel that this should have been placed in its own category.

Nevertheless, something seems to have happened since all this occurred... Categories seem to have been reverted, and the sub 20 is no longer atop the NG leaderboard (now incorrectly labeled "Any%" for some reason).

Some forum posts here from a "Deleted user" may have explained what happened in regards to the reverted categories and times, but those posts appear to be gone.

Anyone able to provide details?

I won't get much into it but the TLDR is the following:

• Garrett (CatchUp2RNGMoney) got upset at the Crusi'n World mods for not using his discord link.
• Garrett decided to remove all his times, and leave the discord.
• Garrett came back on several accounts, each time, he progressively got more hostile toward everyone.
• Eventually, the decision was made that he would be banned from the discord for 3 months and 1 day.
• He deleted his src account.

@N69 Coming from someone who literally sent DM to random people on the site to promote this game, that seems like a really genuine explanation.

@N69 I randomly remember this and come back here every once in a while to have a good laugh. And you didn't disappoint this time either. As an outsider the only thing I care about is the fact that you spammed a couple of people I know, and yeah that's bad. It leaves a bad impression about not only you, but the whole community. They fact that they kicked you out only reassures me that community is in better hands now. Also congrats on deleting the post that I originally replied to like a coward.

Can you take down your immature comments about me, like it or not you need to respect my time? I left the community because of several people trying to sabotage my 1,000$ bounty competition right before I was about to do a Gamesdonequick showcase. It wasn't worth it fighting with a bunch of nerds over a discord so I left. I came back a couple days later to discover they were offended I left & banned me, so i made another account to explain to them its basically impossible to ban someone, and they were just essentially silencing me. I know they made you mod after this and you immediately got on your self righteous high horse after that, but hey, thats okay. Just delete your comments and we will be okay here, or I'm just going to contact site mods. I'm tired of revisting this forum and reading a bunch of slander about me because you guys were jealous of me finding an unpolished way to beat the game quicker. Any one of you can easily do this, it took me like a week to learn how to play with 2 controllers. Just a bunch of lazy people trying to put me and my accomplishment down, because I was trying to improve our community. Is it unethical to advertise a discord the way that I did? Sure yeah, but no reason to hate someone, thats just ridiculous honestly. I really hope you've grown up in the last 4 years.
