LASSO - Any% Normal Route for Final Remix

Currently the fastest Any% Normal route for Final Remix. LASSO is geared towards intermediate runners, but it is not that difficult to learn, but perhaps I'm biased as its author. Please feel free to reach out to me about any questions about or optimizations to LASSO.

**BEST AND CURRENT ROUTE**: [LASSO PBJ](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gfEUErB5fadmAwcqt5SMJWvr_Wt-jDDe/view?usp=sharing)
The newest version of LASSO also snags the Patchy Biker Jacket. This route was also performed at AGDQ 2023. I highly recommend watching it, as it is fully commentated by myself and Herreteman: https://youtu.be/EyWeE9MrJwo

Older Route: [LASSO](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Dtdz1xu-ybLS19FF3Zo5GzpTrP5FRAZp/view?usp=sharing)
The original LASSO.

Bad Route: [El Lazo](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lMz54-9O8ejOZnt4ukV9kDzRV9hitF34/view?usp=sharing)
Don't use this. I was a bit too ambitious here. LASSO PBJ is vastly superior. Keeping this here for the sake of history.

Some aspects of luck need to be calculated/determined, particularly Mother Lode and Drop Kick III.

__**Edit Log:**__
* [2/3/2022] Corrected and updated information.
* [5/7/2022] Added El Lazo
* [1/15/2023] Added LASSO PBJ

Twewy Final Remix - FTA Guide (Ultimate)

Be sure to do this on Co-op mode with max stats on everyone. I like to sub slot one Lightning Rook and the Sexy B pin so I have greater control on the pin gauges and so I don’t accidentally use Lightning Rook when I need to use Sexy B.

=====Pins=====

Lightning Rook (x2)

Tin Pin Thrift

Pegaso

Her Royal Highness

Sexy B

=====Guide=====

Cornix Canor (Shiki)

Depending on where the Decadraven enemies initially position themselves, you may want to use Lightning Rook and/or Shiki’s moves to defeat them. After defeating the first batch, wait for Cornix Canor to come from the right side and use a Lightning Rook to kill him instantly. Be sure to unleash it right before he start appearing so he’ll appear right where the hitboxes from the Lightning Rook are.

Ovis Cantus (Shiki)

Launch Lightning Rooks at Ovis; when he uses his black hole to absorb your psychs, use Shiki’s Mr. Mew Lariat! to deal damage. As soon as that’s over, switch back to using Lightning Rooks to finish the battle.

Reaper Beat (Joshua)

Launch Lightning Rooks at Beat till he dies; you may get unlucky if he blocks the attack or repositions himself.

Sho Minamimoto/Leo Cantus (Joshua)

Position yourself as the enemies are summoned so your Lightning Rook attacks can hit all of them at once. Try to Cross Combo the enemies with Joshua so both of your attacks do full damage to defeat the Taboo noise faster. Once Sho comes onto the field, just focus on hitting him. Make sure you don’t tap on him directly, or he’ll teleport and you’ll lose time.

Pteropus Canor (Beat)

Summon Beat as soon as you can to get him to the top balcony and use his Vertical Boot to clear the bats causing the light outage. Lightning Rook Pteropus Canor until he’s dead.

Uzuki Yashiro (Beat)

Just launch Lightning Rooks as she attacks you; hopefully she won’t use any attacks that cause knockback and slows your time.

Koki Kariya (Beat)

Launch Lightning Rooks at him like with Uzuki and hope he doesn’t move or use any attacks that cause knockback.

Uzuki Yashiro (Berserk) & Koki Kariya (Berserk) (Beat)

Just use Lightning Rooks on Uzuki, then Kariya once he appears. Keep attacking Kariya until the fight is over. You could move over to one of the sides to hit both, but I don’t believe it would save any significant amount of time, and may cause you to lose time unlike in Solo Remix where you need to build up a fusion. This may vary depending on your run; if Uzuki start attacking you with knockback attacks, it may be worth moving to avoid the attack while positioning yourself in a better place.

Tigris Cantus (Beat)

Unlike in Solo Remix, Tigris Cantus is immune to Fusion attacks. Thankfully, since you have more control over Beat in Co-op mode, you can get through this fight fairly quickly. Use Sexy B to grab a Taboo noise and drop it in the white hole at the bottom left corner of the stage, then Lightning Rook Tigris. On Phase 2, use Lightning Rook on Tigris till Phase 3. On Phase 3, use Beat’s SK8 combo and have Neku step into Tigris’ shadow to deal damage to her. On Phase 4, finish the fight by exposing Tigris with Rhyme (Tigris will usually be on your right side of the screen) and finishing her with Beat’s SK8 combo.

Megumi Kitaniji (Beat)

Just launch Lightning Rooks at him and dodge any attacks that could potentially kill you, given that your hp is probably low at this point from the Uzuki and Kariya fights.

Anguis Cantus (Shiki & Beat)

Just launch Lightning Rooks at his head. Similar to the previous fights, be prepared to dodge if needed. If you can, at the beginning of the fight, position yourself so you can hit both his body and head simultaneously, but if not just go for the head. With this, the FTA is done.

Twewy Solo Remix - FTA Guide (Ultimate)

-----Pins------

Lightning Rook (x2)

Tin Pin Thrift

Pegaso

Her Royal Highness

Excalibur or King Arthur (Excalibur is better, not sure why I used King Arthur, but it’s only for the first fight).

-----Threads-----

Neku:

Your Cap (Beat: Sync Start 60%; but this for ATK, not its ability)

Black Book Bag (SOS: ATK Boost II)

Vampire Dress (SOS: ATK Boost II)

Pi-Face’s Jeans (Sync Charge Z)

Shiki:

Doesn’t matter; but if you accidentally activate her pin, maybe ATK equipment

Joshua:

Doesn’t matter; but here’s what I had equipped.

Purple Sneaks (CC Faster Sync II)

Heart Pochette (CC Faster Sync II)

Samurai Helm (All-Around Upgrade II)

Citrus Shorts (CC Faster Sync II)

Beat:

You could replace Biker Gloves for Samurai Helm if you feel more comfortable having more fusion time, but you also need a good amount of ATK and build up enough CC before the Tigris Cantus fight.

Biker Gloves (CC Faster Sync)

Purple Sneaks (CC Faster Sync II)

Pass the Mic (Lasting Fusion III)

Citrus Shorts (CC Faster Sync II)

-----Guide-----

Cornix Canor (Shiki)

Depending on where the Decadraven enemies initially position themselves, you may want to use Excalibur/King Arthur to defeat them quickly, or Lightning Rook.

Straightforward, just launch Lightning Rooks at Ovis until he dies without touching him directly, or else you will summon Shiki and waste precious time.

Reaper Beat (Joshua)

Same as before, just launch Lightning Rooks at Beat till he dies; you may get unlucky if he blocks the attack or repositions himself.

Sho Minamimoto/Leo Cantus (Joshua)

Position yourself as the enemies are summoned so your Lightning Rook attacks can hit all of them at once. Once Sho comes onto the field, just focus on hitting him. Make sure you don’t tap on him directly, or he’ll teleport and you’ll lose time.

Pteropus Canor (Beat)

Summon Beat as soon as you can to get him to the top balcony, then use your fusion to kill all the bats. This will unfortunately kick you out of SOS, but it’s the fastest way to deal with the bats without losing in-game time. Lightning Rook Pteropus Canor until he’s dead, but make sure not to summon Beat.

Uzuki Yashiro (Beat)

This is where things get tricky. You’ll need to get yourself back into SOS, so hopefully Uzuki will use attacks that’ll quickly hit you back into that state. Just launch Lightning Rooks as she attacks you; hopefully she’ll deal enough damage to get you back in the SOS state.

Koki Kariya (Beat)

If you’re in SOS, launch Lightning Rooks at him, but this time use Beat as well. You need to build up enough fusion (a level 2 fusion) before you reach Tigris Cantus. Using CC combos will also stagger Kariya and keep him trapped in place.

Uzuki Yashiro (Berserk) & Koki Kariya (Berserk) (Beat)

Similar to the previous fight, use Beat to stagger Uzuki and build up fusion. Once Uzuki retreats, move to the left side of the screen (try to position yourself in a place where Uzuki and Kariya will be in a straight line from Neku’s position) and attack Kariya with Lightning Rook and Beat. Eventually, Uzuki will reappear; try to hit them both at the same time with the Lightning Rook and be sure you have built up a Level 2 Fusion.

Tigris Cantus (Beat)

Begin the fight by using your Level 2 Fusion; if your multiplier is high enough, you should be able to knock her health down to close to 0 if you get around a 5.3x multiplier. This will enable you to skip the first three phases of the fight, saving you several seconds of time. You will be kicked out of SOS b/c of the Fusion. Finish the fight by using Rhyme and Beat.

Megumi Kitaniji (Beat)

This one’s a bit luck based as well. Hopefully Kitaniji will use his dragon arm attack to deal a good amount of damage. If you get hit by it, you will be knocked behind him. Just keep attacking him without moving; hopefully either Shiki or the other attacks will knock you into SOS as you attack him. He may try to attack you again with his arm attack, but he may miss since you haven’t changed your position.

Anguis Cantus (Shiki & Beat)

Just launch Lightning Arrestors at his head. If you can, at the beginning of the fight, position yourself so you can hit both his body and head simultaneously, but if not just go for the head. Don’t accidentally use your partner pin like I did. With this, the FTA is done.
