Hello everyone, just want to write down some things to be transparent on this website.

3 Years ago we ran a poll about what to do with the Modern Patch timer since it was new and also was an update that patched many glitches. The community voted for an option that added 29 seconds for each run that used that timer to be consistent with the timing of the other categories that did not use the same timer. Objectively it's not good to have a game with two different timings. But fast forward to this year and especially this summer, it was a stupid poll. Because the whole point of making the Modern Patch "split" was to differentiate runs that used or didn't use the newer version, there was really no point in resetting the boards (especially in retrospect because the newer version ended up better AND faster for glitchless!)

So, just now I've moved over ALL runs from that old glitchless category into the new one, and now we get to the next point I want to address: timing.

Almost 3 weeks ago I ran a poll about timing and the community unanimously voted for the whole leaderboard to follow with the Modern Patch timing system, (it's Real Time Minus Load Times if you didn't know), alongside implementing the change that it made to cutscenes (the timer doesn't increment when in the wakeup and final cutscene).

So ultimately, here are the changes for the leaderboard that I'll be working on:

• Re-merge Glitchless (Done)

• Retime all Glitchless runs to LRT instead of RTA

• Retime all Inbounds and Out of Bounds runs to LRT (time out load times and cutscenes)
