After A bit of testing on my own, I found out the reason mobile is easier than pc, turns out, movement is nearly Identical, I just did a run of Bones, and watched the replay, comparing it to the one done by ness, Turns out, The issue is that the timer on mobile is slower than the one on pc. Manually timing the run showed that the two were identical, while the ingame timer showed almost 2 seconds of difference
I havent done a ton of testing for this, so if anyone could time multiple runs down to the frame i'd appreciate it. And if ness could also find a way to manually time their runs just to confirm it too, that'd be useful
Here's a vid showing the difference, as you can see the run is really close, not 2 seconds off like the ingame timer says
from what I can see, each second on mobile is about 3-4 frames longer, so a time on mobile is about 5 percent faster
Wait actually it would be easier if you could subtract 5% since you have less runs.
I went ahead and converted all of your times, just multiplying it by 1.0425, its not entirely accurate, off by a few milliseconds, but it's should be ok for now atleast, I based it off your all the way down time. if it's a major issue then times can be manually retimed

I also made a table comparing your times and the ones I have ingame or submitted (the times in red arent yours)

I cant change my previous times because I'm not a mod, but from now on, all my ILs will be retimed.
Yea that's fine, im sure qg will get to it when they can, I'll probably start using a timer too
ngl ill just mod you guys since y'all still actually active in this game and im too busy rn :p
also, should probably add different categories for mobile on full game runs because of missing levels, unless there's some other fix for it
Yea that would be a good idea, but i'd also say we could do like an auto converted time, I'd have to see
for now I think it'd be best if ness reviews my runs and I review theirs
For now the time multiply works, if times are too close we can just manually time them
Though this only needs to be done for IL times, so we could separate it by platform yea
So, does this mean in order to beat a pc time I need to be 5% faster on my mobile time?
EDIT: I understand that it's the same time in general, but I'm asking if the time I see on my screen has to be 5% lower than the pc times
Other way around, you need to be 5% faster on pc to beat a mobile time (if using the ingame timer)
as of right now we're just gonna multiply all new mobile times by 1.0425, and that'll be how they're timed.
If old times are really good (like let there be goo) Then we're probably just gonna manually time them.
There are levels exclusive to 2-Player, called Dual Paths and Encircle, which you may see are not on the IL leaderboards. This is because they replace 2 other 1-Player levels, so if you want to submit a speedrun of Dual Paths or Encircle, you will submit them to the 2-Player category of the levels t
