The Sub-7 System
...it was foretold in ages past...
And now...the legend is REAL!
WOW! What a coooooool run!
If you watch, you can see me hesitate for a half/full second after failing to get all 3 trophies from 2-5...but I knew it was still possible.
As a matter of fact...there was a LOT of strange that happened in this WR!
And that's why it feels EXTRA cool to me.
FWIW, this was the ONLY attempt I got with No Checkpoints...so THAT as the SUB 7?! FIRE!
I came back to this game after more than 2.5 years away.
This time, I thought to take data down and actually crunch numbers on what stages would be fastest. I had the perfect strats...then I noticed with that strategy I'd go mad.
...so I adjusted a bit to make that task a little more reasonable.
Then I screwed up massively in 2-5 but, in the heat of the moment, I played 5-1. You might be able to tell I hesitated there a bit because I REALLY didn't practice that stage very much.
But I clutched it.
Some of the tech was SO CRIT too! The tophat roll in 5-3(!), the surge protector wheelies at the end of 6-6...
While it wasn't as perfect as I envisioned...in a way it ended up even BETTER for its flaws.
ANYWAYS...the final minute barrier is broken.
My work is done here.
This final grind took only 10 days...but also exactly 275 attempts...so...let's close the books on this one.
