As promised, once we had an update on the auto splitter we'd announce it in Discord and SRC.

Thanks to our team. We now can confirm that the auto splitter for Tormented Souls on the newest patch does indeed work now. I know this has been requested for a while and I'm happy to announce this!

The Nailer Only category has been requested and added now that it has been tested to be possible.

Changes made to the Tormented Souls 1 boards

Over the course of a week or so. Me and other moderators have made few changes on the boards for an overall better presentation with the overall timing of runs, rejecting runs that no longer have video footage and introducing a glitchless category. There has also been an addition to the boards and go for the best ending "Adoption ending"

Changes

• PC runs will be using the LRT and IGT time. LRT being your splitter time and IGT being the end game stat screen. (Your end game stat screen is required in your submissions)
• Console runs are now timed with RTA and IGT time. Due to console not having fair access to a load remover, all console runs will be organized for leaderboard placement with RTA. (Your end game stat screen is required in your submissions)
• Added glitchless category
• Added subcategory to go for best ending
• Demo category has been archived due to inactivity

What's next

• Tormented Souls 1 has added a glitchless and glitched subcategory to the board. All runs have been defaulted as a glitched run.
• Glitchless rule set is included in the category rules on the board.
• The shotgun dmg boost glitch will be allowed in the glitchless category due to the glitch easily unintentionally happening in runs and it being near impossible to verify and to know if the glitch was performed or not.
• Updates to the auto splitter will be coming in due time to work on the most recent update of Tormented Souls 1 and this is a high priority task we are focusing on.
• We are working on creating a joint category extensions page with Tormented Souls 1 and Tormented Souls 2.

Hi all! Just a quick update. Recently I have taken over as super mod for the Tormented Souls series. Over the last few weeks, I have reworked our community discord and have gotten TS2 boards up and running.

Now, I want to work on these boards and update them, add potential categories, update livesplit to work on the newest patch etc. I'm making this post to let the TS1 community know what is up and coming and I'm super excited to work on this as well! Further updates will be in our discord!
