Ran on Andriod on Dolphin emulator.
Huge. Finally got the sub 20 and a good run.
This was my longest grind ever. Like endurance training đ Slowly grinded sessions over the days and had many good pace fails. Either to the infamous last tree on the cut (tough to avoid) or to the finish bar or sometimes a tree on the right of the finish.
It's tough to get a good u-turn and cut in the same run and clutch the ending. Felt like a nightmare. This ghost made it much easier to do the u-turn. I got two back-2-back pbs after being stuck on 20:35 for a while, the ghost and momentum definitely helped. I played this particular attempt while muted.
The best way to land for the u-turn is to the left side right before the checkpoint since landing into the checkpoint loses a lot of time since you lose time in both directions. Hitting the pole and then turning is also quick but it's rarer to get (often don't get the checkpoint aswell)
I hated the end cause even if you get a good run you might fail or be too slow based on your speed, many fails. Letting go of the gas right before end platform after a full speed cut made you hit the finish bar so the small hiccup on the cut which reduced the speed before the ending in this run was actually good. I've tried braking at the end aswell but It's too slow (tried it in the 20:33 run)
