Thanks to dyed and elad, Ronin v1.4 is out, which comes with a TON of new features and customizability. this version also removes some problematic subsplits that were giving an advantage via instant trigger hit feedback. because of this, v1.4 is now the lowest legal version for ronin users. the rule change for this is below:

Modification of in-game files. This includes launching the game via icepick, vpk mods, and any other imaginable form of modification. For a whitelist of accepted custom.cfg and launch option commands, CLICK HERE! Zweek's Speedrun Menu Mod and Ronin Client versions 1.4 and above are excluded from this rule and are allowed.

Welcome to Pilots vs. Neons, a speedrunning crossover event. The Titanfall 2 and Neon White speedrunning communites have come together to put on a friendly competition between these two games for bragging rights and money! Members of either community are invited to come speedrun a short category from the other game this summer to determine the faster group of gamers. It's an opportunity to try a new speedrun and meet new people! Why not give it a shot? The event is asynchronous and will be running from now until Sunday, 23 August 2026 04:59, so there's plenty of time to get comfortable with the game and get your submissions in. Additionally, we have a $400 prize pool up for grabs between the top five placements in each game! You can find more details about this in the info document below. Also, what a total coincidence that the Steam Summer Sale starts today! Both games are currently on sale and you can buy them for fairly cheap. If that's not good enough though, we also have Viz from TF2SR offering free game copies for the first ten registrants from each community. So, get your registrations in quickly!
