raiyumi moment

so yeah the same death warp glitch from AKD works in this game too and although this run has a lot of movement mistakes the execution of the major stuff was fine. this can probably be pushed another few seconds with optimized movement

future runners notes: for whatever reason, death warping with air jump is much harder than with climb. i don't know if this is due to relative lag/math rounding issues being less severe in the air jump area, but it can be done from the left or right side with probably only a single frame to input R. i am unaware at this time if jumping over it and then pressing R works, but my understanding is that the player's slight deceleration before stopping is what makes this trick possible in the first place, so likely X-axis only.

there is also an unused trick i found. save anywhere in the main area, then go to one of the other areas and stand on a save point. press R, and right before the screen is fully black, save at that location. the game carries out the spawn logic in the main area, but is unable to determine where to spawn you since you just changed your save location, and it defaults to putting you at the lowest save point under the door on your way to the "climb challenge" area. this could be utilized in a full run, but i couldn't figure out a route that uses it. you have to go to the air jump area first in order to access the other areas, and using the save point before the climb item would lose time having to backtrack with climb. there may be a variant of this glitch used to spawn near the 4 tiles room, which would save some backtracking time in this run.

mod note: i am unable to play on Flash Player as I have stopped using Windows, so this run was completed with Ruffle, with some quality tweaks (fullscreen, 1080p @ 240hz). this doesn't affect the timing of the run afaik but let me know if this sort of thing is not allowed.
