I noticed that the categories “Tutorial” and “Cheats – Basic Skateboard” (which I forgot to mention in my previous post) are still missing. It would also be important to distinguish between PS2 and Wii within Category Extensions, since there are differences such as loading screens and some missing features; comparing times across both versions would be unfair.
Regarding the rules:
- All Skateboards: this category must be completed on a new save file, and cheats to unlock skaters should not be required.
- Any% – Basic Skateboard and Any% NG+ – Basic Skateboard (Category Extensions): both categories currently list an incorrect rule: “Timer ends after crossing finish line of Tony’s Challenge.” Instead, the description should match the standard Any% or NG+ rules, with the addition that the run MUST be completed using the Basic Skateboard.
- Cheat% – Basic Skateboard (if added): rules should state that cheats to unlock characters are not allowed, the run must be done on a new save file, and the “IAmBob” cheat must be banned, as it maxes out all character stats regardless of the skateboard used. The timer begins upon selecting a character in Downhill Challenge and ends after crossing the finish line in Armondo’s Challenge.
- For all categories that allow cheats, the rules should require the player to demonstrate entering the cheats before starting the run.
That would cover everything. Thank you once again for your attention and excellent work.
The rules for the CE categories “Any% – Basic Skateboard” and “Any% NG+ – Basic Skateboard” still haven’t been updated — the line “Timer ends after crossing finish line of Tony’s Challenge.” should be removed and replaced with the same rules as a normal Any%, but with the addition that the run must be done using the Basic Skateboard. Also, for all categories that involve cheats, the rules should state that the player must show entering the options menu and activating the cheat.
The “Tutorial” category, in levels category, and “Cheats – Basic Skateboard”, in CE, also haven't been added
Also, the Wii version should be separated from the PS2 version in the CE (if possible) due to the large time differences between them. One idea I had would be to list the category name and include the game version in parentheses. For example: Cheat% (Wii).
And one more question: should I submit my runs again so they appear on the newly added leaderboards?
