The moderation discussed a new timming proposal for Transformers The Game which affects Any% for both campaigns and Full Campaign
The way it was is that you started the timer after you get control of the robot, this was okay for the autobots campaign but in decepticons campaign you can move blackout during the black screen by pressing nitro and going forwards, this obviously was an advantage and it worked fine for most of the runs on the leaderboard.
However, the start timming differs by fractions of a second depending on how early you start the timer after you can strafe the helicopter, this led to differences of more of a second after retimming the start and the end of the run.
In an attempt to achieve more consistency among all runs and new players we changed the start timming for campaigns to start once you skip the very first cutscene of the game after the initial load screen.
The time it takes for the game to load after you skip the cutscene (the start of the fade-in) to the state where you can actually move the robot its exactly 9 seconds (at least in 60 fps, for console at 30 fps it might be different), so i added +9 seconds to all 30 runs in the current leaderboard (12/10/2025) that are affected by this change, so if you submitted a run in the past you shouldn't worry.
Please consider this new timming when submitting future runs.
