How To Install The Emperor's New Groove

Here is a video on how to install The Emperor's New Groove using the ISO. Daemon Tools is recommended if you're using the ISO since it's easy to understand for new users but not necessary, since Windows itself can make virtual disk drives.

If you have the physical disk then just insert it into your PC and follow the instructions provided by the disney installer.

There is a high chance that a warning message will pop-up during the installation. Don't worry, just press the "No" button twice.

A common issue is nothing happening when clicking "Install Now". In this case, open your task manager and find a process named 32-bit Setup Launcher.

If there's multiple instances of it, just close the duplicates. Then right click the process -> click "Go to details" -> right click that process again in the details window -> click "Analyze wait chain". End whatever program is stalling the process, and it should go back to normal.

On the title screen, input these codes to activate/deactivate these cheats. A small sound effect will conform correct entry of a cheat.

Rebinding Pause Button on Controller

(THIS INFO IS BETTER COVERED IN THE FULL GAME TUTORIAL)

If you tried this game on controller, you probably noticed that the default pause button is clicking the Left-Stick down. This is cringe, but you can fix it in the Configure Joystick menu.

**Step 1: Set Jump to Left-Stick.**
A and Left-Stick will swap places. This will unpause the game so you will have to navigate back to the pause menu with the new binds.

**Step 2: Set Jump to Start.**
Now Left-Stick will be unbound.

**Step 3: Set Jump to A again.**
A and Start will swap places, making A jump again, and Start become the Pause button.

If you ever mess up or get confused, select Default Settings to reset the controller bindings and try again.

Run without CD Guide

Once your game is properly installed, you can either mount your ISO using something like DAEMON Tools, or if you want to play it without the need for a CD-ROM, do this:
