This run is performed on VBA (Visual Boy Advance), which is emulates GB incorrectly (it works faster) and banned on every GB leaderboard because it gives unfair advantage.
I should probably specify that I don't accuse or blame FloppyBacon, because he probably simply didn't knew about VBA, since there is nothing in the rules regarding emulators.

Probably means nothing coming from me, but no cheating was done on the video. There are several failed runs on my twitch to show I am capable of running at this level. That said, I didn't see any mention of it on the rules so I figured it was ok. I will need to keep this in mind when running other GB games in the future. I'll accept any decision made by the mods on this. Hoping to keep my time though of course!
And I would like to stress, this run is not a "fake world record", invalid, maybe so. I do respect BeetZero for bringing this up as cheating a run is something I'd never do, and also for indicating he isn't accusing me of anything deliberate. There isn't any cheating intention with my submissions. I did check the rules prior to starting my runs and never seen anything regarding VBA, I figured this was fine. It is my first gameboy game I've run so I didnt know about it being a banned emulator.

The question is, why has this not been resolved after 5 months? I just checked GB discord, neither of the current mods are part of it from what I noticed, I know me, ucci (whom is going for WR currently) and Beet for sure is part of it. VBA has been banned since before mankind roamed the earth.
For whatever reason, emu rules was never put in place: This falls upon the mods, you know better than me why nobody ever actually did, but let's not shy away from the truth: it still does fall on you to put that in place.

Ninja Gaiden community have tried to warn you in the past to include emu software used in submissions, you never learned - I checked all your submission comments for all games, never once have you bothered to specify what software you're on, NES,GB/SNES or otherwise. As an emu runner, that is a red flag and you've had YEARS to learn about accepted software, specially since some of these games like Ninja Gaiden, for sure have rules in place for what software is allowed.
A Link to the Past mods even rejected one of your submissions judging by your rejection history, with part of their reasons being "Emulator name/version should be visible or shown at the end of the run".

I am fully accountable on my end for using VBA and for sure never would have had I known it was banned. As mentioned, this is my first GB/GBA submission and made the incorrect assumption that the rules were up to date and my emu was allowed.
I'm not huge into gaming communities so while it may be common knowledge to nearly everyone that VBA is banned, I did not know. Obviously this does not excuse using it and if my run is revoked for it I won't lose any sleep.
Again, I am totally accountable on my end and will be adding my emu name/version in any future submissions to any game.
