the idea is that you must beat the game using only the minimum ammo thats really necessary for progression. that means everything you only use ammo is doors or blocks that are mandatory IF there's no other way around available and enemies must be killed with charge beam, the only exception being mother brain 1 that needs ammo but even then the bare minimum needed to kill MB1 is 9 missiles and 9 Supers.
i recorded a run test even though i messed up and spent an extra PB in the Glass Tunnel and made a reset but then i decided to continue the run just to have an example of the idea after the Glass Tunnel part, i also made some saves just for safety because i already had in mind just recording it as a test run but obviously no save would be needed during a real run, if anyone wants to checkout the idea.
PS: the only restriction on collecting items is if they are locked or not behind an ammo door as every upgrade not mandatory behind a ammo door is not to be colleceted (the only exception is Ice because its mandatory), for instance i had to collect the 5 available E-tanks but if you are good enough to go with just 3 or 4 to save time then go ahead.
What about a new category where you load up Samus with a full arsenal and beat the bosses in any order?

i think Jump_Ace missed the point, i didn collect full arsenal and the path and ammo use is the limiting factor here.
and i didnt understood why Soap posted NG SpaceTime, it also doesnt relate to the idea.
