Recently I had an idea to create a time trial project on Scratch for this so you would be able to race against ghost data like you would be able to in Mario Kart. My thought process was that when you race against ghost data that is faster than your best in Mario kart, than you are able to slowly make improvements to your time by learning from the ghost. I think that if people used it to record and share the ghost data, then it would make it easier for other people to use that data to race against it and improve. The only issue I can really think of is that it wouldn't be practical since people use the other autosplitter to do their runs on, so the world record data cannot be recorded by the time trials since the run would happen in a different project. A possible solution to that is that if the mods approve this project for runs and people started doing them on the time trials project (which uses the same autosplitter by 4Mahoney21), then that data could still be recorded and shared for others to use for practice. I put all of the new scripts in new sprites and marked all new variables and broadcasts with a ! at the start of it. If you want to take a look at the project, you can find it here: SMFS4 autosplitter + time trials on Scratch. Feel free to ask any questions about it.
Nice work! I took a look at the project and it should all run fine. I will add this as an allowed project; thanks for helping out!
The new "Damageless" category has been added to full game and all level categories. This category is just like Any%, however you must not take damage during the run at all.
The names of the full game runs, 20 and 24 bolt, have been updated to Any% and 100% respectively. This is to help the SMFS4 co
