This guide will show 4 different routs for goals ranging from getting a run on the board to beating the world record.

if you are serious about speedruning srpg2 read "tricks in srpg2 speedruns" as well.

but all you need here is simple multi instancing.

To do that just open a new instance of the game when ever you see the initial loading screen.

The part in brackets after a step explains what to do if you don't get the luck needed.

Flamethrower rout:

A really nice and consistent rout for feeling out srpg2 speedruning.

• start with 25 Charm, no ability needed.
• work in joe's pizza 4 times, buy 3 chicken wings, work once more. (Reset if you don't have at least 200$ after the last job)
• buy ID in police station
• give the wings to king of wing's in Skye's bar.
• save, close your game then load the save
• sleep in your house
• buy xxx dvd and talk to the escapee siting on a wall.
• give the dvd to the skater kid in area3.
• buy 40 oz in 11seven
• work 4 times at mcsticks
• buy a lighter in steel hawk
• Save, bet all on blue wining in the casion. repeat untill you have 14k+ (load that save)
• buy a leafblower in hardware store.
• talk to pyro perry 3 times to get the flamethrower.
• buy pain killers from wally mart
• buy burger then work once in mcstick's.
• Save and load then give pain killers to the suicidal dude.
• buy 3 coca from the conctraband seller and talk to the kid behind 11seven.
• (if one them is missing save and load that save. repeat untill you have done both actions)
• get drunk at vinney's bar.
• bail the convict and give coca to the cop in the police station.
• talk to Ansel in U of S for the lab key then save and load
• eat the burger and run though the lab.

Expected times: mid 5min to mid 7min

Glock rout:

Modified version of the old wr rout to make it more consistent.

Use this if you want to keep improving your times.

Also gives you a good taste of srpg2 rng.

• sleep in your house
• work 7 times at stickbucks (reset if you don't get the rare gold event)
• buy skate board in the skate shop.
• buy fake ID and pain killers in area3.
• bet on blue win[1255], red place[3005], red place[5000] (reset if you dont win all three)
• S/L then give the painkillers to the suicidal dude.
• buy 3 coca and talk to the kid behind seven11. (if the kid is missing S/L and check again)
• buy burger then work once in mcstick's
• (if you couldn't previously buy coca) (if the contraband seller still isn't there S/L and check again untill he is)
• give coca to "coca cowboy" near U of S
• buy a glock from Larry at the start of area2 (if he isn't there S/L and check again)
• get drunk at Skye's bar.
• bail the convict in the police station.
• talk to Ansel in U of S for the lab key then S/L.
• eat the burger and run though the lab.

Expected times: high 3 to mid 5

This is the current world record rout so if you plan using this please read "tricks in srpg2 speedruns" to learn triple instancing and other optimisations.

• bet welloy place(1330) (reset if you don't win)
• buy pain killers, S/L
• give the painkillers to the suicidal dude.
• buy coca then talk to squeegee kid (reset if either of them are missing)
• buy a minigun and get drunk in dangiling pianist.
• bail the convict and give coca to the cop in the police station.
• talk to Ansel in U of S for the lab key then S/L.
• run though the lab.

Expected times: low 3 to high 3

this rout is only for the true maniacs you don't just want to beat the wr you want to crush it.

• no starting requirements
• work at stickbucks 2-4 times (reset if you don't get the rare gold event)
• buy skate board and a fake ID
• bets: blue win[1305], yellow win[3205]
• buy a minigun and get drunk in dangling pianist.
• buy all the 4d items from the Interdimensional drifter near your house (go back to your house then check again)
• talk to Ansel in U of S for the lab key then S/L.
• run though the lab.

Expected times: mid 2 to low 3

no gambling rout:

This isn't really practical at all it's slower and more rng than the glock rout.

but you can use it for fun or something.

• start with 15 int, 15 charm and photo memory
• sleep in your house
• study 4 times in UofS (reset if you don't get to 25 int)
• work at the government 3 times, S/L (reset if you don't get the super rare 29k event)
• buy skateboard
• buy painkillers in wally mart then S/L
• give the painkillers to the suicidal dude.
• talk to the squeegee kid
• buy a fake ID and 3 coca
• study once at UofS
• buy a glock from Larry
• get drunk in Skye's
• bail the convict and give coca to the cop in the police station.
• talk to Ansel in U of S for the lab key then S/L.
• run though the lab.
