I love this game. It's the best snowboarding game ever made and a beautiful speedrunning game. Still, as you learn the speedrun you get deeper and deeper into performing wormhole skips (Aloha, Merqury City, Elysium, and Mesablanca to name a few). It fits the games vibe a little of crazy map jumps and tech like the UFO in Merqury, but takes away from focusing on the snowboarding aspect.

Would any% no wormholes category be viable? Would love to see it even if its something like glitchless and takes out the tokyo megaplex skip too.

Id say, especially after talking about it with other people in the community, that an "any% no major skips" category could be solidified im sure. that run might be a bit different from my GDQ run as it did the Aloha track-2-track jump, but would be the best case for a category with no out of bounds tricks or tokyo lap skip or anything.

we might have to get some runs out there to give it some traction but im sure we could make that a category!

Ooh good category idea. I've been doing a couple runs trying no Aloha t2t jump or Tokyo skip (and ofc no wormholes) been a good bit of fun. Not quite Junior GDQ run that was nutty, but at about a 29:25 right now perchance forgot to set up audio recording; it's a quiet run, but still wanted to get some rolling)
