There could be a way to do pacifist mode through clever use of quicksaves. I started doing a few of the beginning but i'm sure it can be perfected. if you make one mistake though you'll be forced to start a level all over.

theres a level where you have to kill gnaars which are mandatory for the sake of completing the level
