been doing some research but could not find my answer anywhere, i seen that the pc version of reignited has that category but console does not, i was wondering if there is a reason for that and what the reason is.
There is a glitch that allows to skip Gulp that is only possible on PC. Meaning that Any% on PC only requires 6 talismans, while on console Any% still requires 14 talismans.
Hmm im not sure if i understand why it still does not have this category for the console version, the point of getting all 14 talisman as fast as possible, console and pc categories are already seperated on speedrun.com, would have been a cool category for console version too. :(
Basically, 14 Talisman IS Any% on console. On PC, it used to be the same, but when Gulp skip was found, the category was split and what used to be Any% became 14 Talisman (without Gulp skip).
After some discussions with the mod team, we feel the time has come to officially set a ruling on IGT manipulation for Console runs.
