Quick Question,
to fill in categories can a skipless run be submitted to all 4 categories of a run (unrestricted, OOB, NMS, and Skipless) ?
they'll obviously be beaten but I wasn't sure if they'd need to be 4 different runs or if one run could be submitted to all 4 while the categories are still empty
I assume this is like a standard across speedrunning that I'm not familiar with; if runs can be submitted to multiple categories
You can't. You're thinking of the subcategories as a hierarchy, where Skipless is the default and you only get moved down to the lower tier of NMS if you break Skipless rules etc for the rest. But all subcategories are actually equal and you only qualify for one at a time. You can only submit to unrestricted if you actually do unrestricted stuff
An example of what you're thinking of is in Hollow Knight, where if you beat the game without spells, you can submit it to Spellless and Any% because Any% doesn't have any specific requirements unlike here (unrestricted, oob, nms, skipless, inbounds)
