New to all this, but I'm planning on doing a skipless run, so I wouldn't need to do any fps uncapping, but the rules still say I need a fps counter visible. Anyone know any good ones to use/how to show that? Or would (since it's skipless) just showing my fps at the beginning before I start the run just be fine? I saw split timers and such in the speedrun.com resources but no fps counters. Does livesplit (what I'm planning to get) have a fps counter setting visible?

Steam has an inbuilt FPS Counter. I don’t recall how to enable it but it isn’t that hard to figure out with a google search or two. It has to be visible at all times because steel wool is jank and fps affects a lot surprisingly.
