If you look at the beginning of this video: https://www.speedrun.com/smo64/run/zg7n5wez he skips the opening cutscene when he opens a new save file. Does anyone know how to do that? Ty :)

I think he presses the L button to throw the cappy at the moment the screen goes white. I've never tested this, but it could be.

you just hold L during fileselect
