I started playing super mario bros 2 hours ago for the first time, and I knew what flagpole glitch was but I had no idea how to do it, and I was playing world 2-2 and when I beat I did flagpole glitch by complete accident. How rare was this to do on accident? Thid also makes me think that someone probably did the flagpole glitch in the 80s without even knowing.
if you're playing on the PAL/european version, then FPG isn't terribly uncommon or difficult compared to the NTSC/USA version and can be done on accident.
