If I remember correctly, those are the names of some renowned speedrunners from the early 2000s but I could be wrong so don't quote me on that.

North Carolina, USA

I never knew Aaron Collins or had any interaction with him. The only reason I know his name is that he was listed as the TG SMB speed run record holder with a 5:28 verified on June 25 2002.

Mike Morrow is the brother of Wolff Morrow who were both TG referees in the early 2000's. Mike submitted a 5:27 in July 2002 which beat Aaron's time. Mike was listed as the TG SMB speed run record holder the first time that I recall checking TG for speed run records. Mike & Wolff were some of the first people to challenge Todd Rogers' claims. They were also responsible for pushing TG to start tracking speed run records on home consoles which led to a lot of people finding out about speed running.

Cam Allen (cpa68) was the SMB speed run champ at TG when I decided to submit my record to TG. I know that he improved his time at least once after I beat his time, but then I never heard much from him after that. He used to have a Tecmo Bowl website that was interesting.  I think he had a couple of other records as well and did a no warps speed run of SMB.

Unfortunately, there's no video evidence that I'm aware of for any of these records. Cam's record was sent on VHS tape to then TG chief referee Robert Mruczek, but my understanding is that most of the tapes that Robert had are gone. He separated from TG, and he tried to get TG to come get the tapes he had from submitters, which probably numbered in the 1000s, but I don't know what happened to them. I was told that a lot of old TG tapes got destroyed or lost during some of the personnel shake ups over the years. It’s a shame.
