I used the link for my son but I don't see any of the characters he is walking around an empty map.... help please

i used the link and everything has been fine so far, but when i beat the womp king my game stops responding but it still plays music and moves

it just loads and everything but the cutscene and the loading parts just dont exist

nevermind im just an idiot but the starting cutscence still doesnt work

I don't think theres any cutscenes outside of collecting stars and beating bowser. And the whomp king bug is well documented, it just happens with no rhyme or reason from what I can tell.
