I was attempting to do the achievement to beat the game in under 20 minutes, wasn't an actual attempt at a speed run, which is why I paused for extended periods of time. Could have definitely been a sub-10-minute. I save scummed on the first boss as I wasn't really paying attention during the run because I once again didn't take this as a serious speed run. I don't think there was any rule against it, though. Very likely was a lot of poor decisions, as I usually take about 50 minutes per run, I think.
