I am new to speedrunning and I did not understand a part of the rules:

• All runs should be done on a vanilla copy of the game. No resource modifications are allowed.

I understand like moding game data like player speed or anything is not allowed but set maps? I think it can allow a new category and a faster way to beat the game.

The game developers allow custom music on the radio channel 1, developers considering this can count as a vanilla option so why not map creator?

Maps made in map creator do not count in official runs. All runs must be either random seed or set seed.

So can I still submit it but it wont be a official run?

it wont be accepted on the leaderboard.. so why submit it if you know its gonna be rejected?
